Jack The Ripper

10th – 13th October 2012

By Ron Pember and Denis de Marne. We are proud to announce the first full Wargrave Theatre Workshop musical for many years, the dark story of Jack the Ripper’s evil deeds set against an energetic backdrop of the Victorian Music Hall.  Unlike a traditional musical where the songs punctuate the action, this production weaves the dialogue and songs together to move the plot forward.

Dancing at Lughnasa

12th – 15th October 2011

Set in Donegal, the play is a tender, poignant and humorous study of five impoverished sisters during the summer of 1936 as they struggle to come to terms with the moving times (their first radio set) and the return of their much changed elder brother who has been working in Africa for twenty-five years as a missionary priest. Directed by Joy and Joe Haynes.
